Beta Terms
Last updated: 6 October 2026
1. The service
VaryLog helps construction businesses capture site evidence, prepare variation and extra-work records, review pricing and generate documentation. The service is currently provided as a private beta and may change during testing.
2. No automatic contractual entitlement
VaryLog does not determine whether work is approved, payable or contractually recoverable. Users remain responsible for checking their contract, notice requirements, deadlines, factual accuracy, quantities, pricing and recipient details before issuing any document.
3. AI-generated material
AI-assisted drafting and transcription may contain errors or omissions. AI output is a draft only. A human must review and approve the content before relying on or issuing it.
4. Accounts and team access
You are responsible for keeping account credentials secure and for assigning appropriate team roles. Workspace Owners control team membership. Records submitted by a team member may remain part of the workspace record after that member is removed.
5. Your content
You retain responsibility for information and media you upload. You confirm that you have the right to use and share that content through VaryLog and that doing so does not breach another person's rights or your contractual obligations.
6. Beta availability
Because VaryLog is in beta, features may be changed, limited or temporarily unavailable. Users should keep appropriate copies of important contractual or commercial records and should not rely on VaryLog as their only record-keeping system during beta.
7. Acceptable use
You must not use VaryLog unlawfully, attempt to gain unauthorised access, interfere with the service, upload malicious material, or use the service to misrepresent site events or fabricate evidence.
8. Limitation
To the extent permitted by law, VaryLog is provided during beta without guarantees that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for every contract or project. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Changes
These beta terms may be updated as testing progresses and before paid or public plans are introduced.
